Foundation<\/h3>\nEuro Terminal Kehl (ETK) was founded in 2006 as a joint venture between the companies Klumpp + Haeger. The terminal started with two container cranes and initially focussed on handling barges.\n\n<\/div>\n
\n\n\n2012<\/strong>\n

Train connection + crane<\/h3>\nIn 2012, a third crane was installed and the train connection to Rotterdam was expanded by increasing the number of departures from two to four per week.\nAdditional reach stackers were purchased in the coming years to increase flexibility.\n\n <\/div>\n
\n\n\n2021<\/strong>\n

Fourth train<\/h3>\nA fourth train was added in 2021 to further increase capacity and enable even faster and more efficient logistics.\n \n<\/div>\n

Another gantry crane<\/h3>\nIn 2023, another gantry crane with a load capacity of up to 38 tonnes was added to further increase capacity.\n\n\n\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Commitment to a green future<\/strong><\/p>\n

As a trimodal terminal, we rely on a combination of rail, road and water transport at the Euro Terminal Kehl to maximise efficiency and improve the CO2 balance. This integrative approach enables us to significantly reduce our environmental impact and increase our customers' transport efficiency. We offer CO2 certificates for inland waterway transport and will soon also be offering them for lorry transport.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

We are introducing handling with electric lorries to further increase our contribution to reducing emissions. These environmentally friendly vehicles are an essential part of our efforts to make freight transport more sustainable.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>
