Sustainability
Sustainability is also
an issue for us
Commitment to a green future
As a trimodal terminal, we rely on a combination of rail, road and water transport at the Euro Terminal Kehl to maximise efficiency and improve the CO2 balance. This integrative approach enables us to significantly reduce our environmental impact and increase our customers' transport efficiency. We offer CO2 certificates for inland waterway transport and will soon also be offering them for lorry transport.
Innovations in logistics
We are introducing handling with electric lorries to further increase our contribution to reducing emissions. These environmentally friendly vehicles are an essential part of our efforts to make freight transport more sustainable.
Optimisation of logistics processes
By using state-of-the-art technologies and constantly analysing and improving our logistics processes, we guarantee the highest possible efficiency. These process optimisations not only help to reduce resource consumption and emissions, but also improve the overall performance of our terminal.
